They Say They’re Shooting and Bombing Terrorists, But How Do They Know?

by Sandy Sand

It a wonderment.

The Associated Press is reporting that the Pakistanis’ shorts are up in an angry bunch, because our forces are invading their country and killing off their civilians, and prompting them to promise that they will start shooting at our forces.

The situation is so critical that Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, was dispatched to Pakistan and arrived there late last night.

AP: Mullen planned to meet with top civilian and military leaders to discuss a range of issues, including ways to improve coordination and cooperation along the Pakistan-Afghan border.

Pakistan's government has faced rising popular anger over a Sept. 3 ground attack by U.S. commandos into South Waziristan, a base for Taliban militants killing ever more U.S. troops in Afghanistan. Pakistani officials say about 15 people, all of them civilians, were killed.

Whenever our military or government sources announces that X-number of “terrorists” have been captured or killed, I always wonder how they knew beforehand or how they know now that they’re “terrorists.”

After all, they all look alike, no hate mail please, that’s not a slur; it’s a statement of fact. They all dress alike and none are wearing uniforms or have “I am a terrorist” tattooed on their foreheads.

It’s a wonderment, indeed.
